Menorca has always been a popular holiday destination amongst holiday makers from all over the world. This is more than likely due to the tropical climate, beautiful beaches and abundance of activities available. Unsurprisingly this has also led to an increase in the number of people buying Menorca villas because they can see the potential in investing in homes in holiday hot spots.
The level of tourism is set to increase further as it has been announced that coming up to the summer season more flights are going to be flying to and from the island. Not only does this mean that more people can holiday there because there is more availability, but it also means that people are more likely to go there because it is easily accessible.
This can only be good news for holiday makers as airlines are no doubt going to start competing against each other in order to offer the lowest air fares. This as well is likely to increase the number of people buying Menorca villas because it is clearly an up and coming place that is going to see a lot of tourists visiting in the next couple years.
Whereas previously holiday makers could only fly to the island from the major UK airports there is now a much better selection. Flights are now available from London Gatwick, Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport, Manchester, Bristol and Newcastle. This means that people who may have wanted to go to Menorca before but couldn’t now can. This is ideal for those who simply want to holiday there or who are interested in investing in Menorca villas.
Although the new flights will see an increase in the level of tourism on Menorca, tourist authorities are keen to make sure that the island keeps it reputation as a relaxing holiday destination. It is currently popular with families, couples and groups of friends who are keen to take some time out and escape the stresses of everyday life. The island is less busy than some of its neighbours such as Ibiza and is keen not to turn into a resort filled with young party animals.
This is more than likely one of the many reasons why so many people are interested in buying Menorca villas because the country offers the perfect combination of everything you want for a holiday. There is plenty to do yet you are not faced with hundreds of clubbers filling the streets until the early hours of the morning.

Deciding where to buy a holiday home is difficult because there are so many options available all around the world. This has become a booming market and everyone wants a piece of the action because they know it can make an invaluable investment.
Menorca villas are particularly popular and it’s not hard to see why. The beautiful country enjoys great weather, interesting culture and the standard of living out there is very high. With so many people interested in purchasing Menorca villas it makes a great investment opportunity because there is always going to be a demand out there.
As Menorca villas have become so popular over recent years, there are now plenty available to choose from. This means that you don’t have to settle for something that you are not happy with because you are bound to find somewhere that you really like. There are villas near the beaches, in towns, in busy resorts, in quiet resorts and in tourist areas so there is something to suit everyone’s tastes.
As a result of this popularity, Menorca villas are set to rise in price as there is so much demand for them. This means that when it comes to selling up you are bound to make a healthy profit. Menorca villas range in size so you are bound to find something that will suit your needs. You will find studio apartments and a range from two to five bedroom villas. This means that you can ensure that you have plenty of space to have a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Another reason why villas are popular is because they are particularly handy if you are going on holiday with a big group. This is because staying in a hotel you are only likely to get two or three people in a room which means that you are all going to be split up. However, Menorca villas ensure that you are all together so you don’t have to worry about being separated from each other.
When buying a Menorca villa the most important thing is to ensure that your destination is somewhere you like and preferably have been there before so you know what to expect. Pictures in magazines and brochures can be very misleading as they are trying to sell you something so it is very wise to go out and look at the property before committing to anything. However, once you have made a decision it is unlikely to be one that you will ever regret.

When you go on holiday it can be difficult to decide where to go as there are so many options available nowadays. If you are looking for warm weather and beautiful beaches then Zante is the holiday island that dreams are made of. With a coastline roughly 123 kilometres in length, the island of Zante is trimmed with beautifully tranquil coves, broad white – sandy bays and resort beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see.
The island is the third largest of the Ionian Islands and most Southern of them all. Zante has a thriving tourism industry which caters for everyone. Party seekers can dance the night away in the bars and clubs on Zante’s vibrant club scene and then recover by day on one of Zante’s many quiet coves and beaches.
The resort of Laganas is situated on the South coast of the island and is the biggest and liveliest which is well known for its nightlife. Laganas has possibly the best beach on the island, and this is where Zante’s endangered loggerhead turtles nest. From here, it is easy to venture to the most photographed spot on Zante – the famous Smuggler’s Cove.Parents with young families come to Zante to take advantage of the rather more quiet and family focused resorts which provide entertainment for the kids and a well earned rest in the sun for mum and dad.
Argassi and Tsilivi are the most popular destinations for those after a quieter family holiday.
For those with the curiosity to explore the island, Zante offers stunning scenery, white cliffs, sleepy olive groves and dusky mountains. The roads on Zante are driveable and there are car hire companies aplenty. Zante also has some amazing cave dives, with marine life rich in moray eels, monk seals, octopus, and loggerhead turtles. Zante is a picturesque island with a village atmosphere. Holiday makers are as welcome in Zante’s friendly tavernas and local shops, as they are in Zante’s resort bars and shopping complexes. The natural beauty of the island and the variety of holidays available on Zante make it one of the top tourist destinations in Greece.
